break time

Monday, May 31st, 2010

So I’ve made a little bit of progress unpacking. But everytime I unload things out of boxes, it seems like I make an even bigger mess.

As you can see, I need chairs. and book shelves. While I’m at it, i also need a vanity, closet organizers, a credenza, a washer/dryer, and a new tv! Oy, I can tell this place is going to be a never ending decorating project.

If I throw a housewarming party, will I be able to sign up for a registry? hehe.

stuff.

so i finally moved back to la. after moving three times in the past year and having most of my stuff in storage, i had NO IDEA that i had SO MUCH CRAP. this isnt even half of it.

though i havent unpacked a single box yet, i was super excited when i bought this baker’s rack for really cheap! so excited that i started assembling it (ALL BY MYSELF!) right when i got home, like a kid opening presents on christmas day. i even missed out on a few hours of a friends birthday party just to stay at home and do this.

after i was done assembling, it looked a little bare so i grabbed whatever i could and put it on there. this is the only unpacking that i’ve done so far. while the apartment is still a dust trap and i’m still living out of boxes, i love this place! all cuz of this rack in my kitchen.

this is all i can do for food so far. this and a salad. i dont know where anything is!

how lame is this entry?! u know u like it tho.

breathless this weekend

herro. i am alive. just been keepin’ busy. i’ll update some more stuff later, but WOW did you see this poster?

it’s for the 50th anniversary re-release of the film Breathless, one of Godard’s earlier and most famous works. i wonder who made this picture? the subdued colors and caricatures are awesome.
the version of the film that’s opening this weekend is from its first restoration ever in history. even the  subtitles are revised too. will this change the way we interpret the film?
seems like a great way to celebrate its 50th. it’ll be as if we were living in the 60s, going to an opening of the new Godard. can’t wait to see it on the big screen.
