food to relax with

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

today after work, i spent 4 hours running errands. FOUR HOURS! driving all over la, going in and out of store after store was no fun at all. i was pooped out, but it felt good to come home to a nice and clean empty house. made myself some pesto pasta with some romano cheese and tomatoes to top it. this is the easiest, yummy dinner i like to make.

i’m relaxing now, with my late night dinner and wine, of course. got some Booker T. & the M.G.’s playing in the background too. goooood night yall.

weekend food

Howdy. Last weekend was spent in front of the TV, eating junk food and consuming a LOT of PBRs and slurpees. It was nice.

Sunday night, my babies came over and made us dinner.

Blurry pic, but still cute. Sinae eating a peach.

loveeeeee story

Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010

Since my DVDs are out of storage and now safe in my living room, last night I curled up in front of the tv to watch one of my favorites– Love Story (1970). Gosh, were the lines always that cheesy? The famous “Love means never having to say your sorry” …and there’s a lot more but honestly, the quotes page on IMDb is a little weak for this film!

Still loved Ali McGraw and Ryan O’Neal’s dynamic though. They’re so cute together! A young Tommy Lee Jones plays one of  his roommates too. Oh, and the style was beautiful. Winter in New England is always amazing, but speeding through the icy streets in a vintage convertible sports car, wearing wool coats with the collar way up? That’s the way to do it.

Oh, and the snowfight scene is also a popular one, yes? so pretty! I wish I had a boyfriend I can stuff snow in their face too!
